We have the following positions available immediately... asp.NET PROGRAMMERS - Peterborough FULL TIME Positions involve carrying out programming ”Legwork“ on existing projects, eventually moving on to creation and implementation of independent projects. Must be self motivated and willing to learn Real World programming skills the Electric Ink way. Paid experience and/or formal programming education is an asset but not necesssary. You must however have a active interest in web application programming and development, and a sincere desire to work hard to create new and useful applications with your programming skill and knowledge. You should have working knowledge of: asp.NET/.ASP Classic, HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, VB and MS SQL Server, MS Visual Studio These are FULL TIME contract positions. Hourly rate offered is $13.00 - $25.00 depending on experience. MOBILE APP PROGRAMMERS - Peterborough FULL TIME Android - iOS - Windows Phone 7 Positions will involve helping with the planning and design for conversion of existing web based applications and sites (as well as new mobile features) into mobile formats, including programming and testing. Paid experience and/or formal programming education is an asset but not necesssary. You must however have a active interest in programming and development of mobile applications, and a sincere desire to work hard to create new and useful software with your programming skill and knowledge. You should have working knowledge of one or more of following: Android, Java, C#, iOS SDK, Objective C, JavaScript, MS Visual Studio These are FULL TIME contract positions. Hourly rate offered is $13.00 - $25.00 depending on experience. DESKTOP WIDGET PROGRAMMERS - Peterborough PROJECT BASED Windows 7 - OS X Position will involve helping with the planning and design of several desktop Widgets including programming and testing. Paid experience and/or formal programming education is an asset but not necesssary. You must however have a active interest in programming and development of mobile applications, and a sincere desire to work hard to create new and useful software with your programming skill and knowledge. You should have working knowledge of one or more of following: C#, Objective C, Cocoa, MS Visual Studio These are PROJECT BASED contract positions. FACEBOOK APP PROGRAMMER - Peterborough PROJECT BASED Position will involve programming and testing of Facebook apps as extensions to our existing web services. Paid experience not necesssary. You must however have a active interest in programming and development of social media applications, and a sincere desire to work hard to create new and useful software with your programming skill and knowledge. We are looking for friendly reliable energetic people to work in our Chatham location, who are organized, learn quickly and are not afraid to take initiative. We have the following positions available... ADMIN - ONLINE RESEARCH and DATA ENTRY - Chatham PART TIME Position involves carrying out research on the internet and entering information into databases for our websites. Must be organized and have the ability to work independently once given a task. Experience and/or formal computer training is an asset but NOT necesssary as training will be provided. You must however have a sincere desire to put your talents to work in creative, and practical ways. You will work with Electric Ink’s Programming Director, carrying out specific tasks. This is a part time contract position, with potential for full time for the right person.
